Why People Love New Life Dentistry

TJ M.
The office was so nice and made me feel very safe. I’m so glad I came here to get my teeth cleaned. Kudos to the staff for being so nice during my visit.
Rebekah T.
I’ve been a patient before and after the new name and change of workers plus doctor. Still highly recommend this place. Kind and friendly. Love all the new remodels they have done to the place.
Thomas H.
Highly recommend this dentist - in fact have referred a work colleague today who is looking for a new dentist. All staff are great, perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness.
Diana J.
Excellent care provided in a kind and caring manner. Both the dental tech and the dentist took the time to discuss my concerns and provide detailed explanations of what options are available to me. Highly recommend this dental practice!
John M.
Recently I broke one of my molars chewing on jawbreaker candy. The tooth was really bothering me. I was able to call the practice and they got me in the same day and quickly fixed the tooth for me. I couldn’t have been happier about the care I received. Great dentist and great practice
Kelley H.
Very nice staff, from the front office to the dentist. The assistant and hygienist were great and the Dr. explained the treatment plan and answered any questions we had. They were able to start treatment on the same day.

Dr. Lee and his team have done a wonderful job making this office their own.Everyone is so friendly and great at what they do.They were able to provide me with Suresmile treatment, something previously unavailable at this office, which I'm so very excited about! I have referred friends and family here as well.Thank you guys for being awesome!
Mags G.
So this practice is now under Doctor Christopher D. Lee and I couldn’t be happier. He’s super nice and very personable. Went and got my dental cleaning last week and went in for a cavity filling this morning. Quick and easy!
Dominick A.
I've been going to this practice since 2008; my recent visit was my first with Dr. Lee. He and the team are wonderful!

Honestly, Dr. Schuiteman is by far the finest dentist I’ve ever visited. Previous dentists (at other locations) have led me to not want to return… they wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible, they didn’t remotely care about comfort, and they would lecture me on flossing (which, honestly, was somewhat warranted)..
Patricia D.
I have a good experience each time I go, especially when there's no cavities. I'm still afraid of the drill regardless of who's holding it, ha! But the ladies are lovely and the doc's are so nice, they are really very good.
Jasmine M.
This is the cleanest and most professional dental office I have been to! Dr and hygienist were both so kind! Front office lady was welcoming and sweet! My teeth feel great and I walked out feeling Grateful to have found this office!
Victoria S.
Love Dr. Schuiteman!!! If you are looking for a new dentist or not satisfied with your current dentist, look no further. The staff is amazing and the new dentist Logan Schuiteman has an incredible bedside manner. She is very patient, listens intently, is a great teacher and very gentle. She always is checking to make sure you are well informed and remain comfortable. Highly recommend!!
Sophie S.
Never before in my life have I said that I loved a dentist, but I love it here. Dr. Schuiteman is incredibly knowledgeable and makes sure to go through everything with you during the whole process. She is the best dentist I have ever had. The hygienists are also lovely, and the environment is generally very comfortable and positive. I’m always in and out very quickly. I would recommend this office to anyone.
Donnie G.
The staff at NLD is awesome! We have always enjoyed the friendly conversation while getting the best care. The facilities are always clean and they have the latest equipment to service any of your dental needs. Special thanks to Dr. Schuiteman, her level of detail in explaining the process while making your comfort the most important part.
Chaya D.
Dr. Lee was very knowledgeable and very passionate about his craft. The staff was very nice. I know when I visit the office, I am in good hands.
Jerrica P.
Dr Schuiteman is amazing! She is very thorough and amazing at explaining everything. Jeani ALWAYS does an amazing job too :)
Enna W.
Absolutely wonderful place! I have a extreme fear of the dentist which played a big part in why I haven't been in ten years but they made me feel so comfortable and at ease! I'll be recommending to anyone looking for a dentist!
M. Mmullinz
Dr. Schuiteman is fantastic! She is calm, thorough, patient, and talks through the procedure to explain what she’s doing. Very good practice, the interior and environment is very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.
Patty M.
Always clean, professional, friendly and I trust them to be completely honest with me about what is and is not needed. I highly recommend Dr Lee and his staff.
Cody H.
Professional, competent, and caring staff. I've never had such good treatment at a dental office as this place. The practices used seem cutting edge...They've certainly raised the bar for my experience with dental needs. The doctors go the extra distance to make sure you're comfortable as well. Very satisfied.
Tabatha C.
I am a new patient and saw both dentists. Both were kind and informative as I had to have fillings (bummer). I'm not sure how to spell her name but Jeannie the hygienist was so lovely. It was nice to have a warm, sweet, smiling hygienist instead of a cold, quiet one.
Becky C.
New Life Dentistry takes great care of their patients! From Lo at the front desk, to your cleaning with Jeani they are both top notch! I have seen a lot of Dentist, but Dr Schuiteman is one of the best! She takes her time explaining everything she is doing from beginning to the end! They have truly been a blessing to me and my family!

Why Choose Dental Implants?

Dental implants are the gold standard for tooth replacement. They not only look, feel, and function like natural teeth but also provide a permanent solution for missing teeth. Unlike traditional dentures or bridges, implants integrate with your jawbone, helping to preserve bone structure and facial integrity.

Single Tooth Implants

For those missing a single tooth, a single dental implant offers a seamless, long-lasting solution. An implant post is surgically placed into the jawbone, and once healed, it's topped with a custom-made crown. This not only restores the aesthetics of your smile but also prevents shifting of surrounding teeth and preserves jawbone health.

All-on-4 Implants

All-on-4 implants provide a revolutionary way to replace an entire arch of teeth. This technique involves placing four strategically positioned implants that support a full set of prosthetic teeth. It's an ideal solution for patients who have significant tooth loss or are struggling with traditional dentures. All-on-4 implants offer improved stability, function, and comfort, with a more natural-looking result.

Cutting-edge Technology

The Dental Implant Treatment Process

Step 1:
Initial Consultation and Assessment

Your journey begins with a complimentary consultation with our dental experts. During this session, we assess your oral health, discuss your dental history, and understand your smile goals. Advanced imaging techniques, such as 3D scans, are used to evaluate your jawbone health and structure, which is crucial for the success of the implant.

Step 2:
Personalized Treatment Planning

Based on the initial assessment, we develop a personalized treatment plan. This plan outlines the specifics of your implant procedure, including the number of implants needed, the type of implants, and any additional procedures, such as bone grafting if necessary.

Step 3:
The Implant Surgery

During the implant surgery, titanium posts are precisely placed into your jawbone, serving as the roots for your new teeth. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and sedation options are available for your comfort. Our team’s expertise and the use of modern technology ensure minimal discomfort and optimal placement.

Step 4:
Healing and Osseointegration

After the surgery, a period of healing is essential. This phase, known as osseointegration, involves the implant fusing with the jawbone, creating a strong foundation for the replacement teeth. This process can take several weeks to months, depending on individual cases.

Step 5:
Placing the Abutment and Crown

Once osseointegration is complete, an abutment is attached to the implant post. The abutment serves as the base for your new tooth or teeth. Finally, custom-made crowns, designed to match your natural teeth in color and shape, are placed on the abutments, completing the restoration process.

Step 6:
Follow-up and Aftercare

Our commitment to your oral health extends beyond the procedure. Follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor your progress and ensure your implants are functioning well. We also provide guidance on caring for your new teeth, ensuring their longevity and your continued oral health.

Frequently
Asked Questions

How do dental implants work?

Dental implants integrate with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong and stable foundation for the replacement teeth (crowns, bridges, or dentures), which are then attached to the implant via an abutment.

Are dental implants painful?

The procedure for placing dental implants is usually performed under local anesthesia and sedation, so you shouldn’t feel pain during the surgery. Post-surgical discomfort is normal and can be managed with pain medication prescribed by your dentist.

How long does the implant process take?

The total time for dental implant treatment can vary, often taking several months. This includes the initial consultation, the implant surgery, the healing period, and the placement of the final artificial teeth. The exact timeline depends on your individual case and healing speed..

Who is a good candidate for dental implants?

Good candidates for dental implants typically have healthy gums, sufficient bone density to support the implant, and are in overall good health. Conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes or heavy smoking can affect the success of implants.

How successful are dental implants?

Dental implants have a high success rate, often cited at around 95% or higher. Success depends on factors like implant placement, patient health, and proper oral hygiene practices.

How do I care for my dental implants?

Caring for dental implants involves the same oral hygiene practices as natural teeth: brushing twice a day, flossing daily, and regular dental checkups. Proper care can extend the life of your implants significantly.

Can dental implants decay like natural teeth?

No, dental implants cannot decay like natural teeth because they are made of artificial materials. However, the gum tissue around the implant can become infected if not properly cared for, leading to complications.

How long do dental implants last?

With proper care and maintenance, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown or artificial tooth attached to the implant may need to be replaced due to wear and tear, typically after 10 to 15 years.

What are the risks or complications associated with dental implants?

Like any surgical procedure, dental implant surgery carries some risks, such as infection, damage to surrounding teeth, or nerve damage. However, these risks are rare and can often be mitigated by choosing a skilled and experienced dental implant specialist.
